Resolution 36 of the United Nations Security Council , adopted on November 1, 1947 , noted that according to the report of the Consular Commission, none of the parties (the Netherlands and Indonesian Republicans ) made an attempt to come to an agreement with UN Security Council Resolution 27 . The resolution calls on stakeholders to take action to implement resolution 27.

The resolution was adopted by seven votes in favor. The People’s Republic of Poland voted against. Colombia , Syria and the Soviet Union abstained.
