Andrei Barulescu ( rum. Andrei Bărbulescu ; October 16, 1909 , Slatina , Romania - July 30, 1987 ) - Romanian football player , midfielder . He played for the national team of Romania , participated in the World Cup 1938 [1] .

Career

He began his career as a newly-married club of FC Arges . In 1924 he moved to the Venus youth club from Bucharest , where he trained for 3 years.
In 1927 he moved to the adult club " Petrolul ", which he played until 1932.
In 1932 he made his debut as part of the Venus football club from Bucharest , where he played until 1940. As part of Venus, he spent 117 matches in which he scored 8 goals.
In 1940-1941 he played in FC “ Sportul Studenetsk ”. In this club, he played 20 official matches.
In 1941 he returned to Venus. In it, over 5 years, he played 16 matches in which he scored 1 goal. In 1945 he completed his professional career. He made his debut for the Romanian national team on August 25, 1935, in a friendly match against Germany [2] . After the debut, he played another friendly match against Sweden .
He completed his appearances for the national team in the 1938 World Cup match against the Cuban team [3] .
