Career
He was educated at Leiden University . He worked as a research fellow at the University of Reading (1982-1985) and the (1985-1988). Since 1989, he has been a taxonomist and registrar at ICRA ( ) at KAVB ( Royal General Association of Bulb Plant Producers ) in the Netherlands [2] [3] [4] .
