Nartia ( Kabard. -Cherk. Nartane ) - a mountain in the foothills of the Central Caucasus. It is one of the highest points in the city district of Nalchik .

Geography
Mount Nartia is located 5 km south of the city of Nalchik , and is visible from the city in the form of a cone, towering above Mount Big Kizilovka . It is the highest point of the Nartan ridge - one of the northern spurs of the Forest Range. The absolute height of the peak is 999.8 meters above sea level. The mountain slopes are covered with a continuous broad-leaved forest, dominated by beech and an admixture of Caucasian hornbeam, ash, aspen, oak, linden and hazel [2] .
Attractions
In fact, the Terrenkur staircase goes to the top of the mountain, due to which the hill is regularly visited by tourists and residents of the city, making it morning or evening walk or jogging [3] .
