• On February 8, 1938, the Presidium of the Executive Committee of the Council of the Kabardino-Balkarian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, by Decree No. 88, approved the Decree of the Presidium of the Nalchik City Council of 7.02.1938, No. 77 "On the allotment of a plot of land for the construction of a school at the end of Kabardinskaya Street on the railway exclusion strip within the borders of the passage to Selkhozsnab warehouses to the residential building of the railway master. ” The school building was located on the facade of Kabardinskaya street.
• Since 1938, a secondary school No. 6 of the city of Nalchik was opened.
• In 1942, the school building was destroyed by the Nazi invaders during the occupation of the city of Nalchik.
• On July 16, 1943, the Politburo of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) approved the decision of the Organizing Bureau of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) on the introduction of separate education, and on the same day the corresponding resolution of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR “On the introduction of the separate education of boys and girls in the 1943-1944 academic year in incomplete secondary and secondary schools of regional and regional cities, metropolitan centers of the Union republics and large industrial cities. ”
• From 1943 to 1952, the school was called "Women's Secondary School No. 6 of the City of Nalchik."
• On November 20, 1944, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kabardian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, secondary school No. 6 of the city of Nalchik was named after fabulist Krylov Ivan Andreevich.
• December 30, 1945 by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kabardian ASSR for active participation in the construction of the State Drama Theater in the city of Nalchik, the team of teachers and students of the school was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kabardian ASSR. ^[2]
• September 1, 1949 the school was completely restored after its destruction during the Great Patriotic War.
• From September 1, 1952, the school switches to joint education and is called "Secondary School No. 6 of the City of Nalchik."
• Since 1960, it was transformed into the Nalchik secondary general labor polytechnic school No. 6 with vocational training.
• In 1991, the school moved to the building on 77 Zakharova Street (the building of the former October RK CPSU and the Oktyabrsky District Executive Committee of the city of Nalchik), where it is located today.
• By the resolution of the Head of the Administration of the city of Nalchik dated January 18, 1993, No. 43 was renamed to the secondary school No. 6 of the city of Nalchik.
• By order of the City Property Management Department dated May 16, 2000 No. 311 it was renamed to Nalchik Secondary School No. 6.
• By order of the City Property Management Department dated March 13, 2001, No. 125 was renamed the Municipal Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 6" of the city of Nalchik. "
• By order of the Department of Education and Science of the Administration of Nalchik dated 08.22.2003 No. 212 it was renamed into the municipal educational institution "Secondary School No. 6 with in-depth study of individual subjects" of the city of Nalchik.
• By the order of the Department of Education and Science of the Administration of Nalchik dated April 18, 2006 No. 349 “On the Name of Municipal Educational Institutions of the City of Nalchik” it was renamed into the municipal general educational institution “Secondary School No. 6 with in-depth study of individual subjects” in the city of Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
• By order of the Department of Education of the local administration Nalchik dated January 21, 2010 No. 16 “On Amending the Statutes of General Education Institutions” - “Secondary School No. 6 with in-depth study of individual subjects” of the Nalchik city district of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
• By the Decree of the Local Administration of the Nalchik urban district dated August 12, 2011 No. 1802 "On changing the type of municipal educational institution," the type was changed to the municipal budgetary educational institution "Secondary school No. 6 with in-depth study of individual subjects" of the Nalchik urban district of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
• Decree of the Local Administration Nalchik dated 12.12.2012 No. 2033 "On changing the type of municipal budgetary educational institution" Secondary comprehensive school No. 6 with in-depth study of individual subjects "of the city district Nalchik" changed the type to municipal treasury educational institution "Secondary general school No. 6 with in-depth study of individual subjects ”of the urban district of Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

1. Sitnikov Yakov Andreyevich - 1938-1941, the first director of the school. In August 1941, he went to the front. In the battles near Rostov-on-Don, he was seriously wounded and died in December 1941. He was buried in the village of Sinyavskaya, Rostov Region.
