Geographical position

The city is located in the southwestern part of the province, on the right bank of the Botrifir River, approximately 47 kilometers (in a straight line) southeast of Cape Town , the provincial capital. The absolute height is 112 meters above sea ​​level [2] .

Climate

The climate is characterized as warm Mediterranean ( Csb in the Köppen climate classification ). The average annual temperature is 16.3 ° C.
