Baratki, Juliu

Julio Baratki ( rum. Iuliu Baratky ; May 14, 1910 , Bucharest , Romania - April 14, 1962 ) - Romanian footballer . He played for the national teams of Romania and Hungary , participated in the World Cups 1934 and 1938 [1] .

Club career

He began his career in the youth club “Staruynts”, from the city of Oradea . There he was enrolled in an adult team, but a year later he moved to FC Oradea from the same city.
After 2 years, he moved to the MTK from Budapest , in which he played 52 matches in 3 years.
In 1933 he returned to his hometown, played for “Krishan”, in which he scored 30 goals in 51 official matches. In 1936 he moved to the capital Rapid from Bucharest . In his composition, he spent 86 matches, in which he scored 61 goals.
Over the next 4 years, he changed 4 clubs, but could not play in any of them. He completed his career as a player in 1948.

International Career

He made his debut for the Hungarian national team on September 28, 1930 in a friendly match against the German national team. He completed his appearances for the Hungarian national team on July 2, 1933 in a friendly match against the Swedish national team. In total, he spent 9 matches for the Hungarian national team, in which he scored 0 goals.
After completing his career for Hungary, he began to play for Romania. In total, he played 9 matches for the Hungarian national team, in which he scored 0 goals.
He made his debut for the Romanian team on October 29, 1933 in a match against Switzerland . As part of Romania, he participated in the world championships of 1934 and 1938 .
He finished his appearances for the Romanian national team on July 14, 1940 in a friendly match against the German national team. In total, he spent 20 matches for the Romanian national team, in which he scored 13 goals.

Coaching career

He began his career as a playing coach at the Rapid Football Club (Bucharest) , who coached for 4 years from 1941 to 1945.
In 1946 he became a playing coach at the Oradea football club, in which he was a coach for 2 years. In 1947 he became a playing coach of the RATA club from Tirgu Mures , who coached from 1947 to 1949.
During 1948 he coached the national football team of Romania .
In 1952, he began to coach the Dynamo football club from Bucharest , which coached until 1953.
In 1948 he coached the Oradea football club again. For 3 years until 1957 he was not a coach of any club.
In the period from 1957 to 1962 he again coached the Dynamo football club from Bucharest .
