Bogdan Jon ( rum. Ionică Bogdan ; March 6, 1915 , Bucharest , Romania - June 10, 1992 ) - Romanian footballer . He played for the national team of Romania , participated in the World Cup 1938 [1] .

Content

Club career

He began his career in the Unirea Tricolor youth team from Bucharest . In 1933 he made his debut in adult football. In total, he spent 43 matches for Uni Tricolor, in which he scored 23 goals.
In 1935 he moved to Rapid from Bucharest, where he performed until 1946.
In 1946-1947 he was listed as part of the Hungarian MTK , for which he did not hold a single official match. In 1947 he moved to the Italian “ Bari ”, in which he completed his career in 1948.

International Career

He made his debut for the national team on July 7, 1937 in a friendly match against the Lithuanian national team, in his debut match he scored his first goal for the national team [2] .
He played with the Cuban national team in the 1/8 finals at the 1938 World Cup.
He finished speaking for the national team after the match with Croatia on October 11, 1942, in which he scored the last goal for the national team [3] .
