Location

The village is located in the south-west of the Altai Territory, on the Charysh River. In the XIX century, the river was suitable for navigation. In the 21st century, it became shallow, but fish are still abundant in it.

History

The first information about the village was documented during the audit of 1782, which indicated that the village was accounted for on the basis of the previous audit of 1770. At that time, 93 people lived in the village: 47 males and 46 females [2] .

  • In 1822, the village was given the status of the county town of Charysh Uyezd [3] .
  • With con. XVIII century - from. Beloglazovo; in 1824-27 - the city of Charysh, the administrative center of the Charysh district of the Tomsk province [4] .
  • At the end of the XIX century. about 600 people lived in the village of Beloglazovo. , worked a post office, an outpatient clinic, several retail stores and one state wine. Navigation was opened on the Charysh River.
  • Since 1827 s. Beloglazovo refers again to the Charysh volost of the Biysk okrug (since 1895 - the Zmeinogorsk okrug (county).
  • By the seventeenth year, more than 2,000 people lived in the village. In 1867 an Orthodox church was built. Children were taught to read and write in a parish school (2 classes). A fair was held annually in the village. In the vicinity of the village, a white clay deposit was developed [5]
  • Since 1922 - Rubtsovsky district.
  • Since 1924 - the administrative center of Beloglazovsky district.
  • Since 1937 - as part of the Altai Territory.
  • Since 1963 - as part of the Shipunovsky district [6] .

General information

In the 1926 census, 1869 people lived in Beloglazovo. In the village there was a district executive committee, 3 schools, a trading shop, a reading room, a veterinary clinic, a pharmacy and an outpatient clinic, a post and telegraph office, a library, an agricultural and credit partnership [7] .

In the Soviet years, the number of inhabitants was more than 1700, mainly they worked at the Beloglazovsky state farm [8] , Iskra, in the service sector, in trade, and at other enterprises. More than 600 children were studying at the boarding school, both from Beloglazovo and from 14 neighboring villages, there was an editorial office that published a regional newspaper.

Infrastructure

After the perestroika that took place in the USSR , peasant farms, individual entrepreneurs (Assol PPE), Nadezhda LLC for growing grain and leguminous crops, consumer cooperative ORKP Hunter (hunting and breeding of wild animals, including the provision of services) work in the village in these areas), several trading enterprises (Sibiryachka, Moment, Resource and others). There is a kindergarten "Rainbow", MCOU "Beloglazovskaya secondary school. S.V. GALKI ”, FAP and the post office [9] , shops, a leisure and recreation center, as well as a territorially separate structural unit of the IFC [10] .
