Content
Biography
From 1943, he worked first as a typesetter, then as executive secretary of a district newspaper [1] . In 1946 he entered, and in 1951 he graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Kazakh State University. SM Kirov , in parallel in 1949-1951 - head of the department of the journal "Communist". He worked as executive secretary in a number of republican newspapers: in 1951-1952 - responsible secretary of the Kazakhstan Communist magazine (Kazakhstan Communist), in 1952-1954 - editor of the Journal of Agitator Notebook (Үgіtshі notebooks), in 1954-1958 - instructor Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan [1] . In 1958–1961 - graduate student AON at the Central Committee of the CPSU. In 1961–1963, he was the chief editor of the Kazak Otbieti newspaper, since 1963 he has been the executive secretary of the Kyzylorda regional branch of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan. In 1963-1965 he held responsible posts in the Almaty regional newspaper " Zhetysu ", in 1965-1973 - deputy editor in the East Kazakhstan newspaper "Communism of Tui" [2] . In 1968 he defended his thesis on the theme “The Problem of a Positive Hero in Kazakh Soviet Literature” [3] .
In 1969-1973, he was head of the sector of the Institute of Party History under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan [1] . In 1973-1982 - Deputy Director, in 1982-1987 - Director of KazTAG . In 1987-1995 researcher at the department of Kazakh Soviet literature at the Institute of Literature and Art. M. O. Auezov ; From 1996 to 2011 - Head of the Department of Abay Studies at the same institute [2] [4] . In 1995 he defended his thesis on the topic "Realistic principles of the image of reality in the poetry of Abai" [1] .
He was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR of the 11th convocation [1] .
On the morning of January 14, 2011, after a long and long-term illness, he died in Almaty, and was buried at the Kensai cemetery [5] .
