Amori Nolasco Garrido ( Spanish: Amaury Nolasco Garrido ; born December 24, 1970 , Puerto Rico ) is a Puerto Rican actor with Dominican roots, best known for the role of Fernando Sucre in the TV series “ Escape ”.

Biography
Nolasco was born in Puerto Rico , his parents are Dominicans . Initially, he did not plan to become an actor, he graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a degree in biology , and was going to become a doctor. However, he did not work in his specialty and moved to New York , where he became a student at the American British Dramatic School of Arts .
Personal life
Lives in Los Angeles . From the beginning of 2009, she met actress Jennifer Morrison [1] [2] . The couple broke up in 2012. .
Career
Nolasco was a guest actor on TV shows such as Arliss, CSI: Crime Scene , and Ambulance . His first notable appearance on the screen was the role of a racer in a red car named Orange Julius in the movie Double Fast and the Furious . He then played the role of Minindeo in the movie Mr. 3000, starring Bernie Mack . In 2007, he appeared in a small role in Transformers , rejected the offer to star in the sequel to the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen , due to a schedule conflict. To date, his most significant role is the role of Fernando Sucre in the series “ Escape ”.
In November 2009, appeared in the video of the duo Wisin & Yandel together with T-Pain for the song "Imagínate".
In March 2010, he began acting in the second season of the series “Southland” instead of the retired actor as detective Rene Cordero , but after filming three episodes, he also left the series.
