Champion of Finland in 2000. Silver medalist of the Finnish championship in 1997. Bronze medalist in the championship of Finland in 1993 (in 1999 he participated in the division of 3rd place, but lost the bronze medal to L.T. Tolonen in additional indicators).
As part of the Finnish national team, he participated in the chess olympiads of 1998, 2000 and 2002, the European team championship in 2001, and the world team championship among students in 1993 and 1995.
