Biography
In 1847-1856 he studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture . In 1856, from the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts for the sketch "Girl with a Jug" received the title of a non-class artist in portraiture painting with oil paints [1] [2] .
In 1859-1863 he lived in Krasnoyarsk , taught drawing and calligraphy at the county school. The first to draw attention to the talent of V. N. Surikov [1] [3] .
Then he moved to Irkutsk , where from 1863 to 1873 he was a teacher of drawing and calligraphy at the Institute of Noble Maidens named after Nicholas I and the male gymnasium [1] .
In 1865 he received the rank of college registrar , in 1870 - titular adviser [1] .
Creativity
He painted a portrait of N.V. Gogol . His work βKokorev Art Galleryβ was acquired by the Moscow Art Society in 1851 [4] .
He painted icons for private orders [1] .
