Geography
The village is located in the south-eastern part of the Belgorod region, at the source of the Plotva River ( Seversky Donets Basin), 13.9 km in a straight line (and about 30 km along the roads [2] ) to the south-west of the regional center of Volokonovka .
Economics and Infrastructure
As of 2014, the main employer is the farm of the local entrepreneur Pavel Shamray [2] .
