Księpol ( Polish: Księżpol ) is a village in Bilgoraj county of the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland . Administrative center of the commune of Xenjpol According to the 2011 census, 1210 people lived in the village [1] .

Content
Geography
The village is located in southeastern Poland, within the Sandomierz Lowland , on the left bank of the Tanev , near the confluence of the stream , about 13 kilometers south of the town of Bilgoraj , the administrative center of the county. The absolute height is 190 meters above sea level [2] . On the eastern outskirts of the village passes the regional highway 835 .
History
It was founded at the beginning of the 16th century. According to the Military Statistical Review of the Russian Empire, in 1847, 909 people lived in Ksenzhpol. Administratively, the village was part of the Zamostsky district of the Lublin province of the Kingdom of Poland [3] . As of 1890, the village of Knyazhpol was the center of the commune of the same name as part of the Belgorai district [4] .
In the period from 1975 to 1998, the village was part of the Zamoysky Voivodeship .
