Andrei Aleksandrovich Blaginin (born 1960, Chelyabinsk [1] ) is a Russian medical scientist and specialist in aviation and space medicine. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Colonel of the Medical Service (1999). Head of the Department of the Military Medical Academy. S. M. Biography
He graduated from VMAA them. S. M. Kirova (1983), doctor of aviation medicine. He served as the head of the medical service of the aviation unit of the Far Eastern Military District. Since 1987, again at VMAA, adjunct, after graduating from the post-graduate course in 1990 and defending a Ph.D. , Associate Professor (since 1998), Professor (since 2000), Deputy Head of the Department (since 2001), since 2010 Head of the Department of Aviation and Space Medicine of the Military Medical Academy, is a member of the Academic Council of the Academy, and also a member of two dissertation councils - at the Military Medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov (D 215.002.03) and Leningrad State University named after A. S. Pushkin (D 800.009.02). He defended his doctoral dissertation “Physiological substantiation of a system for improving the professional performance of spacecraft control specialists” (1997) and “Psychophysiological support for the reliability of professional activities of operators of complex ergatic systems” (2005). Under his supervision, a doctoral and 14 master's theses in psychological and medical sciences were defended. Member of the IAC Advisory Board on Aviation Medicine ( Interstate Aviation Committee ). He was a member of the organizing committee of the conference Medical and biological support for the preparation and implementation of a flight into space of the first man on Earth by Yu. A. Gagarin, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the first man's flight into space.
Vice President of the Association of Aerospace, Marine, Extreme and Environmental Medicine of Russia. Full member of the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics named after K. E. Tsiolkovsky (2005). Full member of the Baltic Pedagogical Academy (1998). Laureate of the All-Russian competition for the best scientific book among teachers of higher educational institutions (2006).
Member of the editorial board of the journal " Aerospace and Environmental Medicine ", the editorial board of the International Journal of Medicine and Psychology [2] .
