Benito Morales ( Spanish: Benito Morales , 1803 - August 31, 1889) is a Central American politician who temporarily acted as the Supreme Head of Nicaragua (as part of the Federal Republic of Central America ).

Biography
Born in 1803 in Matagalpa , graduated from the University of Leon . In 1830, he was elected deputy magistrate of the Supreme Court of the State of Nicaragua.
At the end of 1833, Dionisio Herrera left the post of Supreme Head of State of Nicaragua, and Benito Morales, as a member of the Council of Representatives, was elected interim Supreme Head until the end of the constitutional term of Herrera. However, in March 1834, the term of office of Benito Morales as a member of the Council of Representatives expired, and he had to transfer the authority of the Supreme Head to Jose Nunez .
In 1866, when the Senate and the Congress of Nicaragua discussed the actions of the government towards Gerardo Barrios , who was in Nicaragua, the opposition deprived the MP from Matagalpa Ramon Alegria and gave it to Benito Morales.
In 1881, Benito Morales is mentioned in documents in connection with the rebellion of the Indians in the region of Matagalpa.
