Juan Espinosa ( Spanish: Juan Espinosa ) is a Central American politician who temporarily served as the Supreme Head of Nicaragua (as part of the Federal Republic of Central America ).

Biography
In 1827, a civil war broke out in Nicaragua, known as the “War of Cerd and Arguello ." The fighting quickly came to a standstill, anarchy and political anarchy began in the country. Under these conditions, the federal government was forced to intervene in the situation. Under his patronage, on November 1, 1829, a new Legislative Assembly met in Rivas , which approved the prominent Honduran liberal Dionisio Herrera, the federal government appointed by the federal government, as the Supreme Head of Nicaragua. Due to the fact that he could arrive in Nicaragua only a few months later, the President of the House of Representatives, Juan Espinosa, became the Acting Supreme Head in accordance with the Constitution.
Juan Espinosa took office on November 8, 1829, and left Rivas as his headquarters. He served as the head of the executive branch until the arrival in April 1830 of Dionisio Herrera, to whom he transferred them on May 10, 1830.
During his stay at the head of the executive branch, Juan Espinosa issued a decree on January 30, 1830, according to which the city of Granada was defined as the seat of the highest authorities of Nicaragua. [one]
