2004 World Curling Championship among veterans

The 2004 World Curling Championship among veterans was held in Gävle ( Sweden ) from April 17 to 23, 2004 for both men's and women's teams. The championship was attended by 15 men's teams and 10 women's teams. The championship was held for the third time.

In the men's tournament, the Canadian team became the champion (2nd time in its history), having won the USA national team in the final. The third place went to the Swiss national team , who won the Norwegian team in the bronze medal match.

In the women's tournament, the Canadian team became the champion (3rd time in its history), having won the Swedish national team in the final. The third place went to the US team , who won the England team in a bronze medal match.

For the first time, the national teams of the Netherlands and France participated in the championship, as well as the women's teams of Germany, Finland and Sweden.
