Chashnikskaya Plain is a physical and geographical area ( plain ) located in the south of the Belarusian Lake District . Partially occupies Beshenkovichi , Sennensky , Chashniki districts of Vitebsk region . In the north it borders with the Polotsk Lowland , in the east with the Vitebsk Upland and the Luchos Lowland , in the south with the Orsha Upland , in the south-west and west with the Verkhneberezinsky Lowland and the Ushach-Lepel Upland .

The length from west to east is from 40 km to 72 km, from north to south from 30 km to 70 km, an area of 2.5 thousand km². Height 140-160 m, the highest point 192 m above sea level (in the southern part of the plain).
The glaciers of 5 glaciations took part in the formation of the plain, the glaciers of the last two glaciations made the greatest impact. The soils are mainly sod-podzolic and sod-podzolic boggy soils.
Minerals : fusible clay , sand and gravel , peat , sapropel .
The rivers belong to the basin of the Western Dvina : Ulla with its tributaries Usveika , Svechanka , Lukomka ; Krivinka with a Birch ; Obolyanka . There are many lakes, the largest are Zherinsky, Soro , Senno , Beryozovsky .
