Biography and career
In the late 1960s, using his real name, Sullivan directed a series of sex-sadistic sex- exploitation films for the then-flourishing grindhouse market on 42nd Street . Working at Sam Lake Enterprises in New York, he directed his first film Lust Weekend (1967). This was followed by The Bizarre Ones (1967), Scare Their Pants Off (1968) and This Sporting House with the future pornstar Jennifer Welles in 1969.
In the 1980s, Sullivan took the pseudonym Henri Pachard. Since then, until his death in 2008, he produced and directed dozens of popular porn movies, including The Devil in Miss Jones 2 and Blame it on Ginger , starring Ginger Lynn .
He also did a lot of BDSM-related topics, especially in the long-running Dresden Diary series, and made a lot of videos about the spanking fetish, such as Blazing Bottoms and Smarty Pants! (both for LBO Entertainment ).
In addition to directing, he also played small roles in adult films, in particular in Glen and Glenda (1994), a pornographic parody of the 1953 Ed Wood film Glen or Glenda .
Sickness and death
In May 2008, it was reported that Sullivan / Pachard was seriously ill with cancer, with an open call for other industry workers to hire his wife Deloras as a cameraman or editor to compensate for his medical expenses [4] .
He died at his home on September 27, 2008, after a three-year battle with cancer. [5]
