Geography
The village is located in the south of the central part of the Pskov region, within the Bezhanitsky Upland , north of Lake Ostrovito , northeast of Lake Vasyuki , at a distance of about 38 kilometers (in a straight line) to the southwest of the urban-type settlement Bezhanitsy , the administrative center of the region . The absolute height is 240 meters above sea level [2] .

Until 2015, the settlement was part of the Kudever volost .
