Aleksandr Vladimir Plyushchev (born September 16, 1972 [1] , Moscow ) is a Russian journalist , blogger , radio and television presenter , and supporting actor [2] .

Biography

From 1979 to 1989 [3] he studied at Moscow school number 751 on Taimyrskaya street [4] . He entered the Faculty of Chemical Technology of Silicates of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology .

While studying at the university, he worked in the institute's newspaper Mendelevets [5] and headed the youth editorial board [6] . Since February 1994, he has been a news anchor on Ekho Moskvy radio station, where he turned out to be due to the advice of Dmitry Pinsker [1] , a student at the Moscow Art Technical Institute and parliamentary correspondent Ekho Moskvy [1] , whom Plyushchev met in the editorial office of Mendelevets [6] . Thanks to Peter Marchenko, from 1997 to 1999 he worked as an editor and chief editor of morning news on NTV television .

On March 30, 1998, Plushenko began to conduct his EchoNet program, dedicated to the Internet, at Ekho Moskvy radio station. At first, he led a program with Gleb Egorovich Setkin (pseudonym Denis Kolomeytsev). “EchoNet” is a laureate of the Popov National Prize in the field of broadcasting for 1999 in the nomination “Best Special Program” and a laureate of the “National Internet Prize” for 2001 in the nomination “Internet in Traditional Media” [2] [7] .

Since May 1999, he led the column “Site of the Day” in Vedomosti , where he was invited by Deputy Editor-in-Chief Alexander Gordeev. In 2004, the column won the competition for the best newspaper publication “Communication Technologies in the Post-Soviet Space”. October 30, 2009 "Site of the Day" - the oldest Internet review in the Russian press, published over ten years - was closed by decision of Plushenko [8] .

Since October 2001, with Dmitry Borisov, he led the six-hour musical night program Silver with Ekho Moskvy [9] . After Borisov left, before the beginning of 2008, he was broadcasting alone or with Larisa Yasnogorodskaya.

Until 2003, he worked as deputy chief editor of Axel Springer Russia . In 2003 - chief editor of the online publication Lenta.ru . From 2006 to 2011, he hosted the Vesti.net broadcast on the Russia 24 television channel . In 2003-2004, he was deputy chief editor of Russian Newsweek magazine.

On April 17, 2006, he registered plushev.com, which became the main site instead of blogs in the Plushev, echonet, and liveargentum LiveJournal [11] .

In May 2007, the book "Full Plushev" [12] was published.

Member of the international jury of The BOBs blog contest in 2007, 2011 and 2012.

Since April 2008, he has been conducting the Tochka program on Echo of Moscow radio [13] .

Together with the information and analytical agency K2Capital , he was a co-founder of the Alexander Plyushchev Prize, which was presented to Internet startups in 2009 [14] . In the same year he was a columnist for the Infomania program on the STS channel.

In 2010 - the author of the idea, the main producer and presenter of the Runet Prize 2010 [15] .

In late 2010 - early 2011, he made a series of interviews with runet figures for the ITV channel under the heading "Split personality."

In 2011-2012, he worked as a correspondent for RIA Novosti , shot a series of interviews with "These Your Internet" with Russian and foreign Internet figures.

Since September 29, 2012, together with Pavel Kushelev, Igor Igritsky and Andrey Podshibyakin, he has been conducting the Internet show Star's Live on Games-TV . In 2013-2015, he worked on SEOPult TV as an interviewer for various Russian Internet figures in the program "Specific Gravity" [16] .

Dismissal Incident

On November 5, 2014, regarding the death of Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Alexander Ivanov, the son of the head of the Presidential Administration, Plyushchev, in his tweet account, posted a comment-question: “ Do you consider the death of Ivanov’s son, who once knocked down an old woman and condemned her son-in-law, evidence of the existence of God / the highest justice? " [17] . A few hours later, Plushenko deleted this tweet and apologized [18] . A few days earlier, on the air of the Do-It-Yourself program on the events in Ukraine, which was conducted by Plyushchev, the holding’s leadership saw “justification of war crimes”, for which Echo received a warning from Roskomnadzor [19] [20] . In connection with “ignoring the norms of professional journalistic ethics” [17] on November 6, he was dismissed from Echo of Moscow by decision of the chairman of the board of directors of Gazprom Media holding Mikhail Lesin , bypassing the editor-in-chief of Alexei Venediktov [20] [21] [22 ] ] [23] . Venediktov considered the dismissal order “legally null and void” and intended to challenge it in court as contrary to the charter of Ekho Moskvy CJSC [24] . On November 20, by agreement of Venediktov and Lesin, the order for dismissal was canceled, Plyushchev was reinstated at work [25] [26] .
