Career
Habib Ahmed made his debut in the professional ring on August 5, 2011 by knocking out his compatriot David Okay. On September 21, 2012, he held his first title fight against George Bamson, defeating him with a unanimous decision and winning the Ghanaian middleweight title. On March 17, 2017, in a duel with his compatriot, he won the vacant African WBO title.
On March 22, 2018, two previously undefeated boxers Habib Ahmed met in the ring, who at that time had 25 victories and Mexican Hilberto Ramirez is the reigning world champion according to the WBO, who had 36 victories, the title belonging to Ramirez was at stake. The fight lasted 6 rounds and ended with the victory of the Mexican athlete by technical knockout.
