The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the south-western part of the Central Russian Upland , near the administrative border with the Voronezh region , at a distance of about 9 kilometers (straight) to the east-northeast (ENE) from the urban-type settlement A potty , administrative center of the district.
