History
People have lived in these places since the Paleolithic.
For the first time this settlement was mentioned in a document of 1552 under the name "Nagykoh (ó)".
In 1784, these places were affected by the rebellion of Horia, Kloshka and Krishan .
In 1956, Vashkeu received the status of a city.
