Biography
Radek упupal began his career at the České Budějovice club. Since 1982, he played in the championship of Czechoslovakia for the main team. In 1990, he joined the Dukla Trencin army team for one year. In 1990, he left for Finland, where he played two seasons for the COD team. In 1993 he returned to České Budějovice, where he spent the next 7 seasons. His last club was the Austrian Kapfenberg.
In addition to clubs from 1989 to 1994, he played for the national teams of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic . The most important career success was the bronze medal of the 1992 Olympic Games in Albertville .
After retiring in 2001, he remained in hockey. He plays for the Czech veteran team. In the 2009/10 season, he was the head coach of the Czech junior team (under 16 years old).
