Very Short Biography
The ancestors of Father Simone were Romans, originally from the districts of Trastevere and Monti. The singer’s mother is from Marche
It is the middle of three children. As a teenager, he was engaged in drawing, and very well, as a result of which he was offered to enter the Comic Art in Tiramolla, but he preferred to study at the Liceo Classico Francesco Vivona in Rome. However, he does not give up this lesson; he continues to study the art of drawing in China with Jacobitti. He later enrolled in a course in art history at Roma Tre University, but never received a college degree.
In 2007, Cristicchi presented at the 57th San Remo Music Festival (Italian Song Festival) his song “Give You a Rose” [1] , which reflected the impressions Cristicchi received while working as a volunteer in psychiatric hospitals, and the life story of one of their patients. This song called for an understanding of the cultural significance of the reforms of Basal , condemned the previously existing system of psychiatric hospitals and periodically appearing in society ideas to restore it. The song “Give you a rose” was praised and brought Christikki victory at the festival [2] . Subsequently, this song became the musical logo of various public organizations that exercise civilian control in the field of psychiatric care. They released a video using photos of psychiatric hospitals and their patients, taken before the reforms of Basal, for its video editing [1] .
