Biography

Joseph Kus was born on June 1, 1921 in Prague.

Kus spent the best years of his career in the glorious club “ LTC Prague ”, with whom he became the champion of the Czechoslovak Hockey League 4 times. He also played for Prague Sparta , with whom he also became the champion of Czechoslovakia, in 1953, ending his hockey career after the championship season.

From 1946 to 1947, Kus played for the Czechoslovakia national hockey team . In 1947 he became the champion of the world and Europe. In total, he spent 9 games for the Czechoslovak team, scored 5 goals.

He died on July 23, 2005, at the age of 84.
