Biography
Mikhail Slavin was born in November 1899 in Kiev, now Ukraine, into a Jewish family. The son of the watchmaker.
In 1917 he graduated from a commercial school.
In 1917 he was engaged in propaganda work among students and the population, became the organizer of the Bolshevik faction in the Socialist Youth Union of Kiev.
Since August 1917 - a member of the RCP (b).
In 1918 - the head of the underground committee of students in Kiev.
In February 1919 - in the 1st Kiev Communist Regiment.
In February 1919, he joined the Red Army on party mobilization.
During the Civil War he fought in Ukraine, occupying the following positions: Secretary of the Political Directorate of the People's Commissariat for Military Affairs of Ukraine, member of the Political Inspectorate of the Yekaterinoslav Military District, Assistant Commissar of the Military District Nikopol - Kherson.
In August - October 1919 in underground work in Kiev.
In October 1919, he was arrested by Denikin counterintelligence.
In December 1919, released from prison by the Red Army.
In 1920, he was in charge of the affairs of the Extraordinary Commissioner for the Supply of the 12th Army, secretary of the Kiev provincial military commissar, military commissar of the Darnitsky military warehouses, assistant head of the political secretariat of the Nikolaev provincial military committee, Nikolaev district military commissar.

July 30, 1955 was rehabilitated.
Died March 9, 1977 in Moscow.
