Record History
Against the background of sufficient success of the Christmas “metal” albums of A Twisted Christmas by Twisted Sister (2006) and the collection Monster Ballads XMas (2007), American producer and guitarist Bob Kulik decided to collect the stars of the “heavy” scene and record an album of Christmas songs performed in the “metal” »Processing. Bob Kulik took part in the Kiss and WASP groups, but is even more known as a producer of tribute collections, for which he manages to collect "star" compositions. On his account, albums such as Welcome to the Nightmare: An All-Star Salute to Alice Cooper and Numbers from the Beast: An All-Star Tribute to Iron Maiden , where artists such as Bruce Dickinson , Ronnie James Dio , Dave took part Mustaine , Zakk Wilde and many others. The executive producer of the project was Wendy Dio, wife of Ronnie James Dio.
The album was recorded in Van Nyce (California) at Office Studios during 2008, with the exception of Michael Schenker's part , which he recorded in Munster .
Reviews about the album were positive:
| If you have some faddish combinations of a vocalist and musicians, this all works for the most part: at least just listen to the classic Christmas songs again in a way that you have never heard them - gaining momentum, charged with a bunch of torn power chords, shredova guitar and all metal machined Original text With some rather odd pairings of vocalists and musicians, this all works well for the most part; if only for the sheer novelty of hearing some Christmas classics like you've never heard them before - revved up and supercharged with lots of ripping power chords and shredding lead guitar work and getting the full metal treatment in the process. |

| Everyone will find their favorite song on this album of 12 songs - or 16, if you count bonuses that are absolutely necessary! Whether it's Run Rudolph Run , a nimble little track with Lemmy's unmistakable growl, or maybe God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen , sung by the legendary Ronnie James Dio Original text Everyone will have their own favorite song on this 12 track album, 16 if you include the bonus tracks which you totally should! Be it Run Rudolph Run, a pacey little number with the unmistakable growl of Lemmy or maybe it's the epic beat of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen sung by the legendary Ronnie James Dio. |

The album on the quality of the material was even compared with the charitable collection Hear 'n Aid : “There are almost as many classic rock and metal (plus new generation musicians) gathered under the same banner as on Hear' n Aid ” [3]
It was also suggested that despite the fact that it was possible to collect one of the best collections of this type, but by and large such albums are basically not needed by anyone [4]
The album was released in CD format and on dual LP . The main edition contained 12 songs, but editions with two or four bonus tracks were also released. [five]
