History
The Presnovsky district was formed as part of the Kzyl-Dzharsky (Peter and Paul) district of the Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR of September 3, 1928.
