Kay Davis ( Kay Elizabeth Davies ; born April 1, 1951, Sturbridge, England) is a British geneticist , molecular geneticist [2] . PhD, professor at Oxford University and honorary director of its MRC Functional Genomics Unit, member of the Royal Society of London (2003) and the Academy of Medical Sciences of Great Britain (founding member).

Biography
She studied at Oxford Somerville College and graduated in chemistry in 1969. She worked at . Since 1998, he has been a professor ( Dr Lee's Professor ) of Anatomy of the University of Oxford, and from 2008 to 2011 he headed the department. In 2000, the co-founder of and now its co-director. He is also co-director of MDUK Oxford Neuromuscular Center, Fello Oxford Hertford College. Since 2008, Managing Director of the Wellcome Trust , since 2013, Deputy Chairman. In 2011-2013. served on the board of directors of the American Society for Human Genetics, a long-time member of it.
