History
It was founded in 1923 by Tatars from the villages of Khoroshiy Klyuch and Turdali and Russians from the village of Krynda [2] as part of the Kuchukovsky volost Agryzsky , then the Elabuga canton of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Originally called Elm Key, then renamed in honor of Gabdulla Tukay [1] . In 1926, 83 Tatar and 31 Russian lived here [2] . Since 1927 - in the Agryz district (in 1963-1964 - in the Yelabuga region ) [3] . There is a shop and a FAP [2] , since 2002 a mosque has been operating [4] .
Geography
The village is located in the north-eastern part of Tatarstan, on the Agryz - Krasny Bor highway, about 44 kilometers along it south of the city of Agryz, the administrative center of the region, and 5 km along the roads north-east of the center of the village, the village of Krynda .
