Born in Borovichi, Novgorod province. Since 1921 he worked there at the factory.
Since 1924, at the Komsomol work in Borovichi, Bolog, Novgorod. In 1929-1931, Secretary of the Orekhovsky District Committee of the CPSU (B.) (Leningrad Region).
Since 1931, while studying, he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Industrial Engineering (1937). He worked as secretary of the party committee of this institute, secretary of the Dzerzhinsky district committee of the CPSU (b) of Leningrad.
By a resolution of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks dated May 26, 1938, he was appointed First Secretary of the Organizing Bureau of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks in the Murmansk Region (arrived in Murmansk on June 1). After the First Regional Conference of the CPSU (B.) On 08/23/1938 at the 1st plenum of the Murmansk Regional Committee, the party was elected the first secretary of the regional committee.
He was relieved of his post by the resolution of the bureau of the Murmansk regional committee on January 15, 1939 in accordance with the decision of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, after which he was dismissed from Murmansk.
Further fate is not known.
