Nothochrysinae (lat.) Is a subfamily of lacewings , which includes 19 currently existing species in 9 genera. The genera Dictyochrysa (3 species) and Triplochrysa (1 species) live in Australia, Kimochrysa (3 species) and Pamochrysa (1 species) in South Africa, Nothochrysa (3 species) in Western Europe and North America, Pimachrysa (5 species) - in Mexico and the USA, Hypochrysa (1 species) - in Southern Europe, Leptochrysa (1 species) and Asthenochrysa (1 species) - in South America [1] . Distinctive features of the subfamily: the vein Psm is short, smoothly passes into the inner step series of transverse veins, the tympanum is absent [2] . It is considered the most basic of modern subfamilies of lacewings. Fossilized Nothochrysinae known since the Eocene [3] .
