Biography
Matryona Pavlovna Osipenko was born in the village of Peski (now the Chernihiv district of the Chernihiv region , Ukraine ). By nationality - Ukrainian . After the end of World War II, she began to work as a link manager at the seed farm “New Way” (Chernihiv Oblast).
In 1949, Matryona Osipenko’s link harvested 6.3 centners of long flax and 8 500 centners of seeds per hectare on a total area of 2.2 hectares of land. June 16, 1950 “for obtaining high yields of fiber and seeds of flax flax when the collective farm complies with mandatory deliveries and contracting for all types of agricultural products, in kind payment for the work of MTS in 1949, and provision of seeds for all crops in the amount of the total need for 1950 spring sowing” Matryona Pavlovna was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor . She lived in her native village. Died in 2011.
