Biography
Labor
Since 1962, he began his career at the Omsk enterprise p / 86, where he went from assistant master to deputy chief engineer. During this period, he took part and supervised the work on the creation of digital instruments and aircraft diagnostic systems, developed and carried out the preparation and production of high-precision, impact-resistant instruments, applicable in special equipment products.
Since 1978, he worked as deputy director for production and economics at the Peter and Paul Plant of Heavy Engineering. He organized the production of complex and at that time unique complexes of special equipment, actively engaged in improving its tactical and technical characteristics. The result of this work is to obtain 23 patents for inventions. For this work he was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor.
Since 1986, he worked as Deputy Head of the Main Technical Directorate (GTU), and then - First Deputy Head, Chief Engineer of GTU at the Ministry of Defense Industry of the USSR. With the participation and leadership of A.A. Chursin A flexible automated system for the production of special equipment was developed, for which he was awarded the title of Laureate of the USSR State Prize;
Since 1992, he served as Director General of the ASTEX Defense Companies Company, managing 22 defense enterprises included in the company during the development of new economic relations in the Russian Federation. As a result of this work, most of these enterprises have retained their scientific and production potential and still produce modern special-purpose equipment;

A.A. Chursin is the founder of the scientific school of competitiveness management in high-tech industries, including the rocket and space industry.
