Geographical position
The village is located in the south of the central part of Chad, in the foothills of the Abu Telfan massif, at an altitude of 764 meters above sea level [1] . The village is located at a distance of approximately 412 kilometers east of the country's capital N'Djamena .
Climate
The climate of the village is characterized as semi-desert hot ( BSh in the Köppen climate classification ). The average annual temperature is 27.5 ° C. The average temperature of the coldest month (January) is 24.5 ° С, the hottest month (April) is 32 ° С. The estimated long-term rainfall is 682 mm. During the year, the amount of precipitation is unevenly distributed, the bulk of them falls from May to October. Most precipitation falls in August (227 mm) [2] .
