Biography
Nikolai Kuchersky was born on July 21, 1937 in Melitopol. In 1961 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute with a degree in mining engineering. He began his labor activity in 1961 in Uchkuduk as a mining foreman; he worked as the head of the site, the head of the quarry, the chief engineer, then the director of the Central Mineral Management.
All labor activity of N.Kuchersky was associated with the uranium and gold mining industry of Uzbekistan.
In 1985, he was appointed General Director of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine.
N. Kuchersky - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Honored Engineer of Uzbekistan, Honorary Professor of the Navoi State Mining Institute and the Tashkent Institute for the design, construction and operation of highways - conducted a large research work.
N.Kuchersky was elected deputy of the Oliy Majlis , was a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan .
He died on December 13, 2018 in Tashkent.
Awards
- The hero of Uzbekistan ( August 26, 1996 ) - for his great contribution to strengthening the independence of the country, deepening economic reforms, public health, as well as heroic work in manufacturing industries [1] .
- The order "El-Yurt Hurmati" ( August 25, 2000 ) - for its outstanding contribution to enhancing the economic power of our state, the national spirituality of our people, active social activities, diligence and patriotism, which earned them the respect and recognition of the public [2] .
- The Order “Fidokoron Hizmatlari Uchun” ( July 20, 2007 ) - for many years of fruitful work in the development of the mining and metallurgical industry of our country, an outstanding contribution to strengthening the economic potential of the republic, as well as active participation in social and political life [3] .
- The Order “Dustlik” ( August 25, 1994 ) - for selfless work, personal contribution to the cause of strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between representatives of all nations and nationalities inhabiting Uzbekistan [4] .
- The Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, V degree ( July 17, 2007 , Ukraine ) - for his outstanding personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Uzbek relations, fruitful social activities and on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his birth [5] .
- Order “For Merits” of the III degree ( December 16, 2002 , Ukraine ) - for significant personal contribution to the development of economic, cultural and educational cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Uzbekistan [6] .
