Kuchersky Nikolay Ivanovich ( July 21, 1937 , Melitopol , Ukrainian SSR , USSR - December 13, 2018 , Tashkent , Uzbekistan ) - Uzbek business leader, general director of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine from 1985 to 2008, worked at NGMK Since 1961. Hero of Uzbekistan ( 1996 ).

Biography

Nikolai Kuchersky was born on July 21, 1937 in Melitopol. In 1961 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute with a degree in mining engineering. He began his labor activity in 1961 in Uchkuduk as a mining foreman; he worked as the head of the site, the head of the quarry, the chief engineer, then the director of the Central Mineral Management.

All labor activity of N.Kuchersky was associated with the uranium and gold mining industry of Uzbekistan.

In 1985, he was appointed General Director of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine.

N. Kuchersky - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Honored Engineer of Uzbekistan, Honorary Professor of the Navoi State Mining Institute and the Tashkent Institute for the design, construction and operation of highways - conducted a large research work.

N.Kuchersky was elected deputy of the Oliy Majlis , was a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan .

He died on December 13, 2018 in Tashkent.

  • The Order “Dustlik” ( August 25, 1994 ) - for selfless work, personal contribution to the cause of strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between representatives of all nations and nationalities inhabiting Uzbekistan [4] .
  • The Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, V degree ( July 17, 2007 , Ukraine ) - for his outstanding personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Uzbek relations, fruitful social activities and on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his birth [5] .
  • Order “For Merits” of the III degree ( December 16, 2002 , Ukraine ) - for significant personal contribution to the development of economic, cultural and educational cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Uzbekistan [6] .
