Yandex
By 2007, Yandex had hundreds of people and experienced a serious personnel shortage, which could not be satisfied by graduates of technical universities who had no experience of writing code for commercial products. Attempts by the founders of the company Arkady Volozh and Ilya Segalovich to agree on the opening of a specialized department at a specialized university were not crowned with success. Volodya Ilya Muchnik, a university research advisor, who has worked at Rutgers University for many years, advised entrepreneurs to create their own programmer’s school inside Yandex. In 2007, Elena Bunina was invited to the project of the School for Data Analysis (SHAD). The project was successful: in the first year 80 people entered the ShAD against the planned 30, of whom 36 completed the training. In total, more than 600 people graduated from school in 2007–2017 [7] [8] [9] .
After the creation of the BASE, Bunin headed the Computer Science department at school and continued to work at Yandex. In 2008–2011, she headed the department for work with academic programs at Yandex, and since 2011 she has been the Department of Organizational Development and Personnel Management as an HR Director [5] . Repeatedly (in 2012 [10] , 2013 [11] , 2015 [12] and 2016 [13] years) Bunin was among the top ranks of the rating of the best HR directors compiled by the Kommersant Publishing House together with the Russian Association of Managers.
