The Belarusian Aviation Sports Federation ( Belorussian. Belarusian Federation of Aviation Sports ; English Belarussian Federation of Air Sports , abbreviated as BFAS) is a Belarusian public sports organization that develops and popularizes aviation and all types of aviation sports in the Republic of Belarus.

He is a full member of the International Aviation Federation [1] . It was established on April 27, 1999 at the constituent conference of the aviation sports community from all over the country, registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus on July 16, 1999 [2] . In 2015, the federation was registered by the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus as the only sports public association in the country that is engaged in the development of aviation sports and is authorized to represent these sports in the relevant international sports association [3] [4] .
The supreme body of the BFAS is the Conference, which is held as necessary, but at least once every two years. The BFAS Council, elected in the amount of not more than 15 people, is the governing body in the period between conferences.
The chairman of the federation is Alexander Lvovich Center , a Belarusian businessman, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the A-100 Group of Companies .

Activities
In accordance with the Charter, the Sporting Code and the Internal Regulations of the International Aviation Federation, the BFAS is entrusted with the responsibility for monitoring aviation sports activities in the country in cooperation with the relevant state authorities in the field of aviation, including the authority to issue international sports licenses and organize international competitions in the Republic of Belarus, assistance in confirming records in aviation sports.
The Federation is engaged in the development of seven types of aviation sports: paragliding , aircraft modeling , helicopter sports , aircraft sports , parachuting , gliding , aeronautics .
The Belarusian Aviation Sports Federation holds aviation sports festivals such as “70 years of peaceful sky” [5] , the annual Pronebo festival [6] .
Under the auspices of the Federation, various aeronautics events are held in Belarus. In particular, in September 2017, as part of the celebration of the 950th anniversary of Minsk, the International Ballooning Cup Minsk 950th Anniversary Balloon Cup was held [7] .
In July 2018, the Federation held the 2018 World Helicopter Championship [8] , and in August – September 2018, the BFAS became the organizer of the First Belarusian Round-the- World Flight [9] .
