Biography
Born in 1908 in the village of Ganir-Kvitiri in Georgia, brother of Maxim Konstantinovich Balavadze. Member of the CPSU since 1943.
Since 1929 - on economic, social and political work. In 1929 - 1986 - at the Komsomol and party work in the Transcaucasian SFSR and the Georgian SSR, head of the Zakkonservtrest trust, construction manager of the Gori canning factory, participant in the Great Patriotic War, at party work in the Abkhaz SSR, deputy minister of state security of the Georgian SSR for personnel, deputy minister of state security Georgian SSR, 2nd Secretary of the Abkhaz Regional Committee of the Communist Party (b) of Georgia, Head of the Department of Party, Trade Union and Komsomol Bodies of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b) of Georgia, 1st Secretary of T KP (b) Bilisa City Committee - KP Georgia, at a scientific work at the Georgian SSR Academy of Sciences.
