Biography
Born February 19, 1926 in Sverdlovsk.
He graduated with honors from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (1950), until 1959 he worked at the Research Institute for Fertilizers and Insectofungicides (NIUIF) of the USSR Ministry of Chemical Industry. In 1956 he defended his thesis on the theme “Crystal chemistry of vanadic-vanadates; their formation and role in vanadium sulfuric acid catalysts. ”
Since 1959, at the Physico-Chemical Institute. Karpova. In 1970 he defended his doctoral dissertation: "Development and application of neutron diffraction methods to the study of the atomic and magnetic structure of crystals."
Since the 1970s Head Chair of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology D.I. Mendeleev .
At the end of 1997, he quit the institute and left for his daughter in Perth (Australia), where he died on July 6, 2016.
