2019 Race Walking European Cup

The 2019 Walking European Cup was held on May 19 in Alytus ( Lithuania ). The strongest were revealed by adult athletes and juniors up to 20 years of age (born in 2000 and younger). 12 sets of medals were won (6 in each individual and team classification).

In 2019, the distance of 50 km for women was included for the first time in the European Cup program for walking [1] . The debut of this discipline in the program of official starts took place in 2017 at the World Cup .

Each team could put up to four athletes in each of the adult runs and up to three in the junior competitions. The best teams in the team event were determined by the sum of the places of the three best athletes among adults and the two best among juniors.
