Biography
Alexey Alexandrovich Retyum was born on August 9, 1968 in Moscow, in 1990 he graduated from the Faculty of Geography of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov. She has been working as a deputy director (branch manager) of the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University "Pharmaceutical Garden" since 1997. [2] [3]

During his stay as head of the branch of the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University "Pharmaceutical Garden" A.A. Retyeyum managed the impossible - to revive the garden after the complete decline of the end of the 20th century and turn it into one of the most beautiful, informative and beloved places in Moscow. The Pharmaceutical Garden has flourished: its collections are constantly replenished with rare plants, new expositions are created, new greenhouses are built, the popularity, recognition and attendance of the garden are rapidly increasing. According to estimates of both specialists and the general public, A.A. Reteyume managed not only to preserve the Pharmacy Garden as an object of historical heritage, to restore scientific, educational and enlightening activities, but also to create a unique aesthetic and ecological environment in it, attractive to people of all ages.
Thanks to the efforts of A.A. Reteyuma, now a branch of the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University "Pharmaceutical Garden" - is one of the most respected botanical gardens in Russia and one of the main cultural centers of Moscow with its own theater - S. A. D. Theater, an extensive and varied musical program, as well as numerous exhibitions and festivals visual arts.
In recent years, The Pharmaceutical Garden has taken on an important mission to revive chamber music in Russia. Chamber concerts with romances, masterpieces of world opera music, folk songs, piano improvisations performed by young winners of national and international music competitions, famous ensembles and talented composers take place in the old laboratory of the 19th century all year round.
In the warm season, grandiose open-air concerts are held in the garden with the participation of world opera and jazz stars, each of which is attended by several thousand people. Every year, the level of concerts and the number of spectators increase significantly, the repertoire is expanding and improving. The garden hosts such famous concert programs as Night Open Grass Concerts Classic Open Air Moscow, the Mystery Festival of the Belcanto Charitable Foundation, the City of Jazz Festival, as well as the tours of the artists of the best theaters in the world and Russia - La Scala, the Bolshoi Theater, Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko, Mariinsky Theater, the famous gypsy theater "Romen" and others.
Almost all the concerts of A.A. The retume is conducted by itself - brilliantly, according to the audience.
Since 2013, A.A. The Retum is one of the organizers of the annual exhibition-contests of youthful works - architectural installations and small architectural forms “Shukhov's Heirs”, held at the Moscow State University Botanical Garden branch together with the Moscow Architectural Institute.
With his direct participation in 2009 and 2010 in the Botanical Garden, together with the Union of Architects of Russia and the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia, competition contests for the Russian National Landscape Architecture Award were organized; exhibition of animators VGIK (2012); jointly with the Russian Academy of Arts, an exhibition of artistic ceramics (2014); festival of contemporary art “The root of the new” with the participation of artists, sculptors and designers (2017) and many other festivals and exhibitions.
Thanks A.A. Retyuyumu, in May 2018, in the “Pharmaceutical Garden” the annual international festival of contemporary art 'ARS HORTUS' was founded - the International Festival of Modern Art, Ecology and Science, an event that combines nature, ecology, dance, music, sculpture, photography into a single whole and much more .. During the festival "Pharmaceutical Garden" has become the most original, greenest and most environmentally friendly European exhibition venue of this scale. For the festival involved the entire space of 7 hectares, including 3 greenhouses.
In conditions of complete creative freedom, more than 70 artists and sculptors from around the world have created a unique poly-installation that immerses guests in an atmosphere of art in the midst of a flowering garden.
Other activities
Since November 2016, she has been conducting the author’s program “Organika” at the radio station “Radio Culture”. The guests of the program were the rector of the Moscow Architectural Institute, Academician D.O. Shvidkovsky , the rector of the B. Schukin Theater Institute, People's Artist of Russia E.V. Knyazev , professor at Moscow State University, the famous TV presenter N. N. Drozdov , the famous opera singer L. Yu. Kazarnovskaya , the legendary fashion designer V. M. Some episodes of the program were thematic - for example, on May 9, 2018, a program dedicated to the fine art of the Great Patriotic War era was released.
