Content

History

The village of Russian Sharshada was founded in 1857 by immigrants from the village of Tatarskaya Sharshada (now Sharshada ). Until the 60s of the XIX century, the population of the village consisted of specific peasants . Engaged in farming, cattle breeding, blacksmithing. At the beginning of the 20th century, a church and a parochial school operated [2] .
At the end of the XIX century, the land plot of the rural society was 883.1 tithes .

Until 1921, the village was part of the Mushakovsky volost of the Elabuga district of the Vyatka province . Since 1921 she was in Agryz , since 1924 in the Elabuga cantons of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Since February 14, 1927 in the Agryz district (in 1963-1964 - in the Yelabuga region ) [2] .

The village is located in the northeastern part of Tatarstan, not far from the Izh River, on the Agryz - Krasny Bor highway, approximately 37 kilometers along it to the south of Agryz, the administrative center of the region, and 3 km north of the settlement center, the village of Nizhny Kuchukovo .
