Biography
He graduated from the University of Utrecht . Since 1971 he has been working at the Westerdijk Institute of Mushroom Biodiversity (formerly the Central Bureau of Mushroom Cultures).
The organizer of a number of studies of various groups of fungi - black yeast, dermatophytes, and mushroom fungi. In co-authorship prepared "Atlas of clinical mushrooms ", took an active part in the preparation of the latest editions of the fundamental determinant" Yeast . "
Magazine editor Antonie van Leeuwenhoek and Mycoses also works with Mycopathologia and Mycological Progress .
Scientific Secretary of the Netherlands Society of Human Mycology and Veterinary Mycology. He teaches a course in medical mycology at the Westerdeijk Institute.
