Viktor Alekseevich Kazakov (born April 4, 1949 , Ferghana , Uzbek SSR) is a Russian statesman and politician, deputy of the State Duma of the IV , V , VI , VII convocations. Member of the faction "United Russia" , member of the State Duma Committee on Agricultural Issues, member of the Counting Commission [1] .

Biography
In 1972, he graduated with a degree in Technology and Complex Mechanization of the Development of Oil and Gas Fields at the Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute. Since 2000, Academician of the International Academy of Informatization (a public organization not recognized in the scientific community) [2] .
Since 1965 he worked as a mechanic in a geodetic organization, then as a laboratory assistant at the institute.
From 1972 to 1989, he worked as an operator for underground well repair, a master of the oil and gas production department, an industrial engineer, a head of the production management department, a deputy chief, chief engineer and head of the Kinelneft oil and gas production department of the Kuibyshevneft association. In 1989 he was transferred to the Kuibyshevneft association, was appointed chief engineer, then until 1994 he worked as deputy general director.
In 1994, the Kuibyshevneft association was renamed the Samaraneftegaz joint-stock company, whose director general until 1995 was V. A. Kazakov, who in the same year took the position of first vice president of the Yukos oil company.
In 1997, he joined the Board of Directors of Volgotanker JSC, was elected Deputy Chairman of the Board of Rosprom-Yukos.
In 1998, the unification of the oil companies Yukos and Sibneft under the new brand YUKSI [3] was to take place . Kazakov was appointed vice president and deputy chairman of the board. After an unsuccessful attempt to merge, V. A. Kazakov worked as a member of the board of directors of the joint-stock company Eastern Oil Company in 1998-2000. In 2000, at the election of the head of administration of the Samara region, he was a member of the election headquarters of the current head of the Titov region. In 2003, he was appointed first deputy head of the Samara region K.A. Titov [4] .
In December 2003, he ran for the State Duma of the IV convocation, was elected as a deputy in the single-mandate constituency No. 151 from the party "United Russia" [5] . After the abolition of elections in single-mandate constituencies, in December 2007 he ran for the State Duma of the fifth convocation on the lists of the United Russia party, and was elected a deputy based on the election results [6] .
In December 2011, he ran for the State Duma on the lists of "United Russia", following the election results he was elected as a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the VI convocation [7] .
In September 2016, he was nominated as a candidate for deputies from United Russia in the single-mandate constituency No. 160, scored the majority of votes and was elected to the State Duma of the VII convocation [8] .
In 2018, a deputy in the State Duma voted to increase the retirement age . [9]

From 2003 to 2019, during the exercise of the powers of a deputy of the State Duma of the IV, V, VI and VII convocations, he co-authored 64 legislative initiatives and amendments to draft federal laws [10] .
