Geography
The village is located 11 km north-east of the city of Navashino .
History
The village is first mentioned in the salary books of 1676 as part of the Pokrovsky (Teshinsky) parish [2] .
At the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century, the village was part of the Pozdnyakovsky volost of the Murom district of the Vladimir province , since 1926 - as a part of the Monakovsky volost . In 1859 [3] there were 10 courtyards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 16 courtyards, in 1926 [5] - 38 courtyards.
Since 1929, the village has been part of the Novoshinsky Village Council of the Murom District of the Gorky Region , since 1936 - as part of the Gorky Region , since 1944 - as part of the Mordovschik District (since 1960 - the Navashinsky District), since 2009 - as part of the Bolsheokulovsky Village Council , with 2015 - as part of the urban district Navashinsky .
